Built-In Burr Grinder

One of the key processes to achieve this is the grinding of the coffee, which is seen as critical for the proper flavor extraction from the coffee beans. It’s generally agreed that should the grind of your coffee be too fine, there is likely to be an excess of flavor extraction resulting in a bitter tasting coffee brew. Additionally this may also result in a clogging of the water filter and subsequently this will also effect the flavor of future brews!
On the other extreme, should the grind be too coarse, the water will pass through the system too quickly and a minimum of flavor will be extracted from the grounded coffee beans. The Cuisinart DGB-900BC Automatic Burr Grind and Brewer has a default setting to execute a medium grind, which is recommended as one to provide you with the perfect flavor extraction.
If you also have pre-ground coffee you can also brew with the DGB-900BC, just simply turn off the Grind function and you can still enjoy a quality brewed and hot cup of coffee.
